How to Switch to a Toxic-Free Home

Simple Swaps

As you know, many commercial products are laden with toxins and nasty chemicals. Fortunately, you have safer alternatives when it comes to cleaners, personal care items, products for kids and pets, and even makeup.

If you are wondering where to find items made from natural, plant-based ingredients, this list is a good place to start when switching to a chemical-free home.

We’re picky about what goes into these products because we don’t want to expose our families to nasty chemicals like formaldehyde, artificial dyes, or parabens any more than you do.

Ditch & Switch

You will probably hear me use this terma a lot. The "Ditch & Switch" is what made me do the big dive into YL products. I was looking for alternatives to keep the house clean for the arrival of my first child, and decided I had to get rid of all the products I had, one-step-at-a-time. It’s when you ditch the toxic products lurking in your home, for safe, clean, natural ones!! It is about shifting your budget from your regular grocery store items to Young Living, not adding to your budget! These highly concentrated products last a LONG time, and I have some easy to do hacks I share with you in my blog on stretching these products even longer!!

Don’t get caught up in thinking you have to replace everything at once. You don’t. Make a plan based on what your budget is to switch things out monthly.
